About Dr. Reynolds
Dr. Lisa Rene Reynolds resides in Connecticut with her husband, three daughters and rescued pets “Rocky” (140 lb. bull mastiff-boxer mix) and sister guinea pigs “Oreo” and “Coco.” She enjoys writing, reading, running and spending time with her children.
She holds both Master’s and PhD degrees in marital and family therapy. Dr. Reynolds is a family therapist specializing in couples’ treatment/marriage counseling. She also works with parents and children going through family changes.
Dr. Reynolds works part-time at an outpatient mental health treatment center where she also teaches the mandatory 6-hour parenting class for all divorcing parents in the state of Connecticut. She is also a Focus on Kids facilitator for high-conflict parents going through the divorce process.
She teaches at several Connecticut colleges and universities where she is an adjunct instructor in the Psychology department. Additionally, she offers community workshops on a variety of topics and is a freelance writer for several local Connecticut newspapers.
